Council elections on 3rd May 2007
The Wickford Action Group
had an Independent candidate in each of the three Wickford Wards, and
all
three came second to the conservatives, but we gained almost 30%
of the votes.
A BIG thank you to the 2, 048 of the 6,969
Wickford voters who selected us, and for those who helped in the campagn.
These votes were for our
policies and not just on party loyalty, and we will continue to do what
we believe is best for Wickford.

Left to
right, Derek Paffett, Wickford Park, David Harrison,
Wickford North, and Alan Ball, Wickford Castledon
